Wallpapers and Backgrounds HD is an application which will allow us to access a collection of more than 1,500 different wallpapers for Android terminals, divided in lots of different categories with which to filter them.
Dogs, cats, cars, colours, flowers, food, girls, love, nature, patterns, sky, sports, textures, travel, universe… There are dozens of different categories so we can quickly find the background we want.
Of course, we will also have a direct search option at our disposal, in case we want to search for wallpapers of, for example, videogames like Bioshock: Infinite or Uncharted 3.
As well as being able to see, download and use all these wallpapers we can also rate them so that other users can see the best at the beginning; and share them through social networks using Twitter or Facebook.
This is one of the Top downloaded apps on Google Play and that’s not a coincidence. There are already millions of Android devices out there “wearing” one of the HD wallpapers you can find on this app. That’s quite easy since there are thousands of them, for every taste. What’s difficult is not to find one that fits you.
In addition, the app is set in a clean and neat, user-friendly interface. Wallpapers are displayed on a scrollable grid. Users can search them for “recent” (recently uploaded), ranking (amount of “likes”) and categories. What’s more, users can search using the search bar, typing any keyword (all wallpapers are multi-tagged). You will probably spend sometime navigating through the app. An advice: “favorite” those wallpapers that you would like to use. You will easily access them from “favorite” or “history” bottom-tab (in case you’ve already used them).
When you tap a wallpaper, you can easily set it as wallpaper or as a contact photo, view a brief description, author info and tags. Obviously, you can save, share and favorite it from the wallpaper sheet.
The app runs amazingly smooth. Of course, it depends on your connection. However, it’s been optimized in that regard.
