Norton Mobile Security is, as its name indicates, an antivirus for Android devices that allows you to have your cellphone or tablet protected from any external danger that can threaten you on the Internet.
In addition to this permanent antivirus protection, which is the main benefit of Norton Mobile Security, the application will give you the possibility to find lost devices on a map with remote location.
You can analyze and delete applications and application updates that can damage or slow down the device in the same way. All of this from a very simple and quite comfortable interface that is very easy to work with.
Another interesting benefit is the one that allows you to check SD cards for threats when they are connected to your device. You can delete those threats before they cause any real problems for the integrity of your device.
Anti-theft protection. Just in case you lose your phone or get robbed, you will be able to locate, wipe or lock remotely your phone.
Anti-malware. It basically notifies you when a virus or malware is detected (when you install first time an app or transfer a file to your phone). You also can scan your SDcard and schedule scannings.
Call & SMS blocking. It allows you to manager your contacts and set who you want to receive calls/sms from. You can block calls for a while or block numbers and text messages.
