Obviously, this game is a bowling game. The only difference is that it isn’t what we could say “realistic”, but we can indeed tell you it’s technically outstanding. Graphics and sounds are far above average, and Concrete Software has put a lot of energy into honing touch response and all the gameplay experience overall.

PBA Bowling Challenge is actually a pretty good bowling game. However, it may disappoint hardcore bowlers because of all the fantasy stuff (lighting ball?) that skews the bowling experience and brings this game closer to an arcade rather than an actual bowling simulator. All those FX throws (explosive strike?) may spoil the game you were expecting. On the other hand, there’s a deep career mode, different balls with different stats and a handful of little nice details to liven the night up.
